Italian Civil War: A Bolt Action Narrative Event

Join us for a day of narrative-driven combat as we explore the chaotic and bitter battles of the 1943 Italian Armistice. This is a one-day, two-game event focused on fun, thematic lists, and cinematic storytelling rather than rigid tournament play. Whether you're a veteran commander or a brand-new player looking to learn the ropes, come help decide the fate of Italy!

Event Overview

• The Conflict: Support the Axis (Italian Republican Army "RSI") or the Allies (Italian Co-Belligerent Army). All nations are welcome, but you must choose a side to champion!

• Narrative Flow: Play a 1v1 scenario in Game 1, where your results—and your losses—will directly impact the 2v2 final struggle for a key objective in Game 2.

• Beginner Friendly: We will have experienced players and loaner forces on hand to help anyone new to the system.

List Building Requirements

• Points: 800pts

• Orders: Max 15 Order Dice

• Platoons: Max 3 Platoons

• Ruleset: Armies of... books, the latest Further Axis & Allied Nations PDFs, and the January 2026 FAQ/Errata.

• Special Inclusion: The Late-War Italian Forces lists from Armies of Italy: Third Edition are highly encouraged!

• Modeling: All models must be fully built and primed to be allowed on the table.

Earn Bonus Tournament Points (TP)

We reward thematic flavor! Boost your score by leaning into the chaos of the uprising:

• +1 TP for every Inexperienced unit (minimum 6 models).

• +1 TP for every unit with the Shirker and/or Unreliable special rules.

• +1 TP for a suitably Italian-themed army.

• +4 TP for a fully painted army (3-color minimum).
