General info and gang creation
This is an Outlander and Underhells hybrid campaign.

Basic Overview
Truth of the Underhells is an Outlander and Underhells hybrid campaign. The emphasis is on building up your
gang’s settlement and then jumping into the underhells. It will mostly follow the standard rules found in an
Outlanders campaign with a few underhells rules added in. The rules can be found in this document, however,
You can also find these rules in The Book of the Outcast and The Book of Desolation . Available for order at
your local Grognards store!

Mundo Manager
Each player will need a Munda Manager account. This is a free necromunda webpage and is a powerful
organisational tool for players and arbitrators to keep track of everything in a Necromunda campaign. Please
contact Tim Valmoon, The Arbitrator, with your account name and gang so that you can be added.
Please set Gang Visibility to hidden. Hidden gangs allow only you, admins, and campaign owners/arbitrators to
see it. The only pre game mandatory information is Gang Rating, Reputation, and Gang Size. Once players are
face to face both can request and should be given the full information of gangers on the field.
The Arbitrator
The Campaign requires one of the players to take on the role of an Arbitrator, Tim Valmoon. As explained
above, the Arbitrator's job is to keep track of victories, offer guidance for the players and control any random
events or elements. In this Campaign, the Arbitrator's responsibilities include:

Organizing the players and making a list of all of the gangs involved in the campaign.

Keeping the players informed as to the progression of the campaign, and keeping track of the
development of everyone's settlements.

Setting up special games for players in the downtime.
The Assistant Arbitrators
The Assistant Arbitrator's job will be to help with rules questions and make rulings if the Arbitrator can’t reply
in a timely manner. These individuals can be players, but will not have access to information normal
players don’t have. They are meant to help prevent player disputes and let the game run smoothly. If you have
an issue please inform the Arbitrator of one of the Assistance. If the issue is the Assistant then tell the arbitrator
with screen shots! Two Assistant Arbitrator positions are available. Please reach out to Tim Valmoon if you

In the development phase , gangs will rush to gather materials to build up their settlements. These materials (power, sustenance, and
salvage) are the rewards gained at the end of every game you play! Some missions will reward more than others such as Mining
Expedition, Gunk Tank and The Big Score, and while you can’t raid other players yet Settlement Raid, Market Mayhem and Stealth
attack also can provide the same double rewards.

Non Malstrain or Genestealer gangs fighters who fail to rally after gaining the Broken condition must pass a Willpower check
or gain the Insane condition.

Malstrain affiliated fighters apply a -1 modifier to all Nerve tests.

The Visibility (X") rule is in effect for all battles, and the maximum value of X is 18.

In the downtime phase , all fighters recover, captives are returned, and any Juve or Prospect with 5 or more advancements are
promoted to Champions. You also gain 250 credits to spend on new fighters and/or Hangers On. Credits not spent are lost, you can’t
stash it. Tactics cards that you want to swap out can be changed during this phase. If you need to drop out this phase is when best to do
so, but dropping out mid campaign is discouraged.
In the exploration phase , the gangs can go to war with each other. You may now play the Settlement Raid, Market Mayhem and
Stealth Attack scenarios. If you do not want to steal others resources the underhell also opens up to players in this phase! The missions
Lost in the Ruins and Trophy Hunt are open to play if you want to try another mission in place of the Mining Expedition, Gunk Tank,
and The Big Score.

The Visibility (X") rule is in effect for all battles, and the maximum value of X is 12.

In the truthfulness phase , the gangs will only have the option to play the missions Lost in the Ruins, Trophy Hunt, and Settlement
Raid. This phase is where you find out what the true costs are for your greed! Hopefully, it was worth the price!

Malstrain affiliated fighters apply a +1 modifier to all Nerve tests.
