To celebrate the release of King of Tokyo: Godzilla at Gen Con, Blue Orange is organizing the King of Tokyo × Godzilla USA Championship, with the final taking place at Gen Con 2026.
In-store tournaments will be played using King of Tokyo (Second Edition) and are part of the official championship structure leading to Gen Con 2026. Each store will run a series of weekly tournaments, culminating in a final local event to determine one representative.
The winner of each store’s Local Tournament Qualifier Final will qualify for the King of Tokyo × Godzilla USA Championship at Gen Con, where the final stage of the competition will take place. They will recieve a 1-day to ticket to Gen Con to attend the event.
Each week, one tournament session is held. These sessions are used to
select a total of 4 players who will advance to the Local Tournament Qualifier Final on May 30 at Grognard Games Algonquin.
Depending on attendance, each session may qualify one or two players,
ensuring that a total of 4 players are selected across these weeks.

Event prizing is subject to change based on attendance and availability.
Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the event are eligible for a full
refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event will be issued store
credit only. Participants who do not cancel and fail to attend (no-call/no-show) will
forfeit their event entry fee.
