​Learn to paint using oil paints and enamel washes in this free class! Larry will be available during this time to answer all your questions, explain the products that you need and how to use them, and give hands on demonstrations of the various techniques! Supplies and models will be available for demonstrations. If you would like to bring your own you'll need to make sure you have a model, your paints, odorless mineral spirits or white spirits, a well pallette, q-tips, and some brushes. Techniques shown will include oil washes, enamel washes, weathering, and panel lining, plus more.

Join us for our semi-regular Old World Rumble! Test your skills, unleash your armies, and have a blast with fellow enthusiasts.

Event Details:

• Format: 3 rounds using latest official Games Workshop errata, faqs, and updates.

• Missions: Open Battle for all three missions.

• Round Length: Two Hours Twenty Minutes per round.

• Points Limit: 2000pts using standard army building rules.

• No single character may be more than 500pts.

• Factions: All factions are allowed (including Legacy factions)

• Proxies: Submit Proxy requests and questions to Jake Stroth (@commisar123 on the Grognard Games discord).

• Painting: No painting requirements but being fully painted will enter you into an award raffle.

• Prizes: Top 3, best painted, favorite opponent, and the raffle for having a fully painted army.

Calling all Kill Team commanders! Grognard Games & Hobbies Roselle is excited to host a Kill Team "OPEN" Matched Play Tournament on April 12th, 2025.

Here's what awaits you:

• Matched Play: Test your tactics and skills in a competitive, 4-round format.

• Variety of Missions: Expect a mix of exciting missions from the Kill Team: Approved Ops deck.

• Date: April 12th, 2025

• Time: 11:00 AM Start, 10:30 AM Check-in

• Location: Grognard Games & Hobbies Roselle (839 N Roselle Rd, Roselle, IL 60172)

Event Format:

• Single-day event on April 12th, starting at 11:00 AM.

• Four rounds of Swiss-style pairings.

• Beast Coast Pairings (BCP) app used for pairings if attendance exceeds nine players.

Game Play:

• Players have two hours to complete each mission.

• Killzones will be set up using the Volkus, Gallowdark, and Bheta Decima Killzones.

• All Balance Dataslates and Errata released before April 12th, 2025, will be in effect.

• Matches will follow the Matched Play Mission Sequence from the Kill Team: Approved Ops Card Pack.

Tiebreakers:

• Total points scored.

• Strength of Schedule.

• Random die roll (if necessary).

Registration and Waitlist:

• Registration is limited to 20 players.

• A waitlist will be created if the event reaches capacity.

• Players who drop out will be replaced by those on the waitlist on a first-come, first-served basis.
