The Conflict
With their defenses cracking, the Loyalists are forced to fight the traitors tooth and nail
in the corridors within and beneath the palace. As the Siege of Terra reaches its climax,
Magnus the Red and his Thousand Sons infiltrate the Imperial Dungeons with the intent
to slay the Emperor of Mankind. Vulkan, Primarch of the Salamanders, intercepts him in
a climactic duel before the Golden Throne itself…

Event Details
 Format: 3 Rounds, Swiss pairings.
 Round Length: 2 hours 45 minutes (with a dedicated lunch break between
Rounds 1 and 2).

 Painting: Scaling paint scores will be awarded for Battle Ready armies. Fully
painted armies are highly encouraged but not required for play.
 Prizes: Awards will be given for Judge Choice, Players Choice, Best Traitor,
and Best Loyalist. Additional awards may be added depending on total
participation!

Army Construction Rules
 Ruleset: All forces must follow the standard army construction rules for Horus
Heresy. In addition, all army construction rules from Journal Tactica: Zone
Mortalis are in play, and the alternate Primary Detachments may be utilized. All
Zone Mortalis Special Rules, reserves, and Advanced Reactions will be utilized.

 Characters: Primarchs and other Unique models are fully allowed.

 Vehicle Restrictions: The Confined Spaces (X) rule will be in effect on all tables.
As such, no vehicle with 3 or more Hull Points may be deployed. Any vehicles
exceeding 2 Hull Points taken in a roster will be counted as destroyed for mission
purposes.

 Confined Space: All missions will utilize the Confined Space Special rule,
treating sections of the board as impassable to models with certain Bulky (X)
values. Bulk (8) will be the highest value unit that may be deployed, and there will
be sections of every table impassable to models with Bulky (4) and higher
depending on the mission. Please construct your armies accordingly.

 Paragon Exceptions: The point restriction for Paragons is increased to 50% of
your total points (750 pts) instead of the usual 25%. All armies are permitted to
take a Warlord Detachment despite the points level, to allow for Paragon models
to be taken, so long as a Paragon Model is included in the detachment.

 Cancellations: Cancellations made more than 24 hours prior to the event are
eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the event will be
issued store credit only. Participants who do not cancel and fail to attend (no-
call/no-show) will forfeit their entry fee.
