Greetings and welcome to our Bolt Action Demo Day! We’ll be hosting a day full of introductory demos and skirmish games for both new and returning players alike, all to get an understanding of the new 3rd edition and form a welcoming community of like-minded players excited to get out and play one of the most approachable WW2 miniature games out there! 

Demo tables for quick introductory games to the rules as well as entire skirmish-sized forces if you want to give a full games a try will be available for newcomers to use, so don’t fret if you don’t have any models or game knowledge yet - this day is here to show you the ropes and get you aboard! 

For the demo portion of the day we’ll have people on hand to give you an introduction to the basic game mechanics and concepts over a small infantry engagement. Concepts like orders, movement, attacking, and pinning - all core parts of the game that you’ll be shown in an easy to learn way!

For the core of the day we’ll be having sets of small 500pt skirmish games where you can learn and familiarize yourself with more game rules like weapon teams and vehicles, and go deeper into the nuances of the rules introduced in the demos. Plus we’ll have some fun achievements you can strive for during the event itself for your shot at prizes! If you already have a force built this’ll be a great way to get some games in and learn the new edition while meeting like minded locals for future games, but if you don’t have any models or familiarity with the game yet we will have skirmish forces on hand you’ll be able to use to learn and play! You can even join the event after trying the demos if you find yourself liking it (so long as we haven’t run out of armies yet!)

You can show up without a ticket and attend the event, but if you're planning on attending please grab one so that we have a good idea of space requirements for the day!
